Thread: Larger screen?

    Larger screen?

I was looking around and saw that Toshiba is putting out a tablet similar to the Flyer but with a 10" screen. Do you think HTC is going to follow their example and make a larger tablet? Or do they have one already?

Htc has been a working on the 10 inch Honeycomb "Puccini" original rumours were a release date date this summer, the not sure what became of it though.

Who knows. If it really was going to come out this summer I think we would know more by now. Considering we are already in the middle of July, I think it must be delayed or scrapped.

Apparently it just past FCC approval for those of you in the US that want a large screen to tote around. Not sure of the carrier though, think it was engadget that reported it , http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2388703,00.asp

Yes, the Puccini is supposed to come out soon, but like Bluelady, I'm not holding out any hope for this summer. Maybe it'll be out in time for Christmas.

Thanks! I think I might find a larger screen more to my liking, although I do like the idea of being able to just slip the tablet into a pocket, which wouldn't be possible with a 10".

Well, until Puccini is released, I think I'm very happy with the Flyer. A new, larger screen tablet, will just offer diversity, which will lead to an increase in popularity for HTC. I wonder if it is going to have better specifications than the Flyer...

The smaller screen is actually perfect for me. I find it much easier to carry around. I don't really want to carry around anything bigger - for that, I could have just gotten a mini laptop.
