Cracked my HTC Flyer's Battery Door

Well, I have had the first problem with my HTC Flyer and it is all my fault. I had the battery door off and left it on the floor. Somehow a blanket got thrown over it and it got stepped on. How much do you think a new one will cost me?

ouch, so you managed to get the battery cover off? so you can see and replace the battery?

HTC support (on-line chat) once told me to take the battery out to do a hard reset, after asking how the cover comes off and nearly forcing it off they came back and said "oh sorry the cover doesnt come off"

Have you tried emailing HTC support through HTC.com ? I think if you are honest and tell them what happened you may find you get a free one or maybe minus shipping.

I'm sorry to hear it. I agree you'll need to contact HTC Support and see if they can replace the battery door for you. It'd be nice if it were free.

I thought the HTC Flyer looked like it was pretty indestructible, but I suppose they didn't think you'd be able to get the cover off to break it!
