Apple Not Happy with HTC Flyer

Did anybody else read that Apple filed some complaints against the HTC Flyer regarding patents? I'm not exactly sure what happened or if there has been a judgment but I'm curious as to whether users think this is a fair complaint.

No, I think Apple is just worried because the HTC Flyer is the kind of technology that could become a serious competitor. I think Apple is just being a big whiny baby.

I don't know enough to say whether it is truly a fair complaint or not, but at first blush I would say Apple is just concerned with competition.

I guess it would depend on what things Apple has patented that they think HTC is using. I can't imagine HTC would do something that infringed on a patent by a company with such deep pockets, though.

Aren't all company's products pretty much "the same, but different"? I suppose Apple must feel very threatened by the HTC Flyer to take such drastic measures.

I haven't heard anything about this until now. I find it rather surprising. I doubt that HTC intended to plagiarize any patent from Apple. What could Apple be referring to? The only similes between the iPad and the HTC Flyer that I can think of is that they're both tablets and have unchangeable batteries...
